You might have had a big product launch announcement or a promo planned for this week but that content no longer seems tasteful given the larger issues impacting you and your audience.
At the end of the day, we are all just people. Adjusting your tone to show your humility and empathy during times of uncertainty in the world is better than forging forward with pushing and selling your products. The recipe needs to change. You should add other ingredients or scrap it altogether. Your brand message should always come from the heart and if it isn't authentic, it's better to not say anything at all.
